1. Locate your nearest ubitricity-operated charge point

We recommend locating our network on ZapMap. Visit the Map of electric charging points for electric cars UK on ZapMap, and choose “Shell Recharge ubitricity” in the filter menu.

Alternatively find one of more than >8,000 UK ubitricity-operated charge points using your favourite EV roaming app like Shell Recharge or the interactive Shell Recharge web map.

2. Choose how to pay

We offer two ways to pay – both without any subscription, contract or monthly cost.

Pay-As-You-Go

A driver of an electric vehicle is scanning a QR code for starting a charge at an ubitricity-operated Shell Recharge charging station with Pay-As-You-Go.

For the best tariff’s use Pay-As-You-Go. Scan the QR code above the charge point with your mobile device and follow the instructions on the site.

This option also provides Smart Charging which is now available at >5,000 ubitricity charge points.

E-Mobility Apps

A driver is choosing an ubitricity-operated lamppost charge point in his Shell Recharge App to conveniently start charging his electric vehicle.

For one-click charging use E-Mobility Apps. Use your favourite e-mobility app such as Shell Recharge app to start your charging immediately, using your phones GPS signal.

Please notice that prices may be different compared to our Pay-As-Yo-Go charging

3. Pay conveniently

Benefit from our transparent billing and payment processes. Every charging process is billed based on the kilowatt hours you have used. If you use the Shell Recharge App, all payment processes are handled via the app. If you use Pay-As-You-Go, payment is carried out via your credit card or Apple Pay / Google Pay.

Please note that local parking fees may apply additionally.
