On September 9th we will celebrate World EV Day.

A day that is brought to life to appreciate global e-mobility.

A day where both current and future drivers of electric vehicles, together with local transport authorities and fleet operators, will be inspired to play – or to acknowledge that they already play – a crucial role in creating sustainable road transport and a zero-emission future for all.

High potential for low pollution

We hope his day will become an annual institution, highlighting the importance of enabling a truly sustainable transport ecosystem.

Because if we can

use the existing electricity grid

to

enable the integration of more renewable power generation

through

reliable, convenient, low-cost EV charging infrastructure

then

EV drivers can play a greater part in improving air quality and reducing carbon emissions.

Signing ubitricity up as a founder member of World EV Day, Daniel Bentham, our Managing Director for ubitricity in the UK and France, said: As the UK’s fastest-growing EV charging network ubitricity is proud to support the inaugural World EV DayTimes are changing but the rate of change needs to accelerate if we are to hit our net zero ambitions. By partnering with World EV Day we want to promote the message that electric vehicles are for everyone and that everyone has an important part to play in the low carbon transition.”
